Counselling

Overview

Counsellors listen

Pathways offers a confidential counselling service for people living in the Middlefield, Northfield, Seaton, Tillydrone and Woodside areas of Aberdeen, although we try to see anyone who needs the service.

What is counselling?

We understand that everyday life can pose problems that can be hard to cope with. Counselling offers an opportunity to come and talk these through and resolve them where possible. These issues can be anything including:

  • Anxiety or stress;
  • Bereavement or loss;
  • Depression;
  • Illness;
  • Low self esteem;
  • Relationship and personal issues;
  • Anything that cause you emotional distress

Pathways Counsellors

Pathways counsellors are recruited with a rich variety of backgrounds and experience to bring you the best possible service.

All Pathways counsellors adhere to the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapists Ethical Framework.

What To Expect

You can use our service if you are over 16.

Sessions are usually around 1 hour long. You may require just one session or a series of more in depth work. You can discuss and agree your requirements with your counsellor.

For further details, or to arrange an appointment, call Pathways on 682939.
