Overview

A brighter future

Pathways aims are: "To encourage participation in lifelong learning and improve access to employment."

Pathways was formed in 1999 to help people living in the regeneration areas of Aberdeen city to improve their employability and find work.

During this time Pathways has:

  • supported over 700 people into work;
  • helped over 140 people into further education or training;
  • delivered community education classes to over 1400 people; and
  • supported over 500 people through counselling.

There are three main ways in which Pathways delivers these aims, jobsearch support, community education and counselling.

Pathways also delivers IT support to voluntary sector organisations.

Information on each of these services can be found by clicking on the buttons at the side of the screen, or by phoning Pathways on 682939.

Pathways receives funding from the Fairer Scotland Fund, Health Improvement Fund and Change Fund.
